But Why Should You Listen To Me?

My name is Larry Weiss, and I’m a retired printing company executive and CPA.

I told John, and I’ll tell you, that I’m not a financial professional, but throughout my career I spent decades managing businesses and constantly weighing risk versus return. At 31, I became a vice president at a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, where I worked on mergers and acquisitions and helped develop long-term plans for the businesses I managed.

That experience taught me something simple but powerful: every successful organization needs a clear plan that protects what it already has before it tries to grow.

Eventually I realized I needed to ask the same questions about my own personal finances: What’s my plan? How do I safeguard my money? What should come first?

Over time I developed the framework you’ll read about on this website. I’ve used it to guide my own financial decisions, and now I’m excited to share it with a wider audience.

My hope is that this simple approach will help you understand what base you’re on, when it’s time to advance, and how to eventually make it all the way home.
